NewJeans radio appearance turns into an emotional moment.

The December 25th KST broadcast of CBS Radio’s 'Kim Hyun Jung’s News Show' became an emotional scene as Hanni performed her solo song, “Darling Darling.”

When asked about her choice of song, Hanni explained, “At that time, we were all going through a tough period,” and tears streamed down her face. Watching her, Hyein also couldn’t hold back her emotions and began to cry.

Hanni shared, “I was playing the guitar a lot back then, and naturally, I ended up writing this song. The video I filmed during that time captures a moment when I was deeply troubled. It’s a song with an important reason behind it, so I felt it was just as important to decide how to share it. I wondered if we should secretly gather and sing it for Bunnies or go live and perform it. But every time I sang it while recording the video, I kept tearing up—it was really hard.”

She continued, “That’s why it was difficult to show it to the members. Even now, I still feel the pain from that time…” she said, her voice trembling, which moved Danielle to tears as well.
