Goo Hye Sun has revealed that she is busy preparing for her final exams.
On December 20, Goo Hye Sun posted two photos on social media along with the caption, “The time has come… (tomorrow) is my final exam. Everyone, fighting!”
The shared photos show an overwhelming amount of study materials. Goo Hye Sun is seen fully focused on her studies, filling the pages with dense notes, drawing attention to her dedication to her academic pursuits.
Earlier on December 4, it was announced that Goo Hye Sun had been selected as the winner of the essay category at the 30th KAIST Literature Awards, which is organized by KAIST Newspaper.
Her winning essay, 'My Neighborhood Wasn’t Poor,' reflects on her childhood experiences growing up in a small community in Incheon. The essay recounts stories of love and learning shared with her neighbors and family, highlighting the warmth of her upbringing.
Following her award, Goo Hye Sun shared her thoughts through her agency, NS E&M, saying, “My professor suggested that I refine the essay and consider publishing it, so I put a lot of effort into perfecting it.” She expressed her gratitude for the recognition, adding, “Next year, I plan to publish an essay collection titled ‘Goo Hye Sun in Wonderland’ (tentative title), which will include this essay. I am deeply thankful to KAIST for giving me this award. Thanks to this recognition, I feel more confident about completing my essay collection.”
Meanwhile, Goo Hye Sun married actor Ahn Jae Hyun in 2016 but divorced in 2020. Currently, she is active as an actress, film director, composer, painter, and writer. In June of this year, she also made headlines for being accepted into the master's program in science journalism at KAIST, further showcasing her diverse talents and intellectual pursuits.
