Yulhee who recently initiated legal proceedings against her ex-husband Choi Min Hwan, has announced her decision to file additional lawsuits in response to malicious comments and sexual harassment online.

On November 22, Yulhee uploaded a video to her YouTube channel, sharing insights into her daily life and addressing the reasons behind her legal actions.

“As someone who works in a field that requires me to be visible to the public, I’ve always understood that there would be a variety of opinions about me. I’ve tried to accept that as part of the job,” she said. “Even with the recent wave of malicious comments, I initially thought I could tolerate a certain level of criticism and harsh words.”

However, Yulhee revealed that the escalating severity of the comments prompted her to act. “The more I stayed silent, the worse it became. That’s when I decided to proceed with legal action. It’s one thing for people to dislike my choices or activities, but the personal attacks and sexual harassment have crossed a line. I believe these baseless, reckless comments should be dealt with legally, without leniency.”

This announcement follows Yulhee’s earlier revelation in October, where she released an audio recording alleging Choi Min Hwan’s involvement in illicit activities, including solicitation and visits to entertainment establishments. The revelation led to Choi Min Hwan’s withdrawal from his group FTISLAND and a complete halt to his activities.

Previously, Yulhee had refrained from sharing details about their divorce. However, after her public disclosure, she expressed her intention to return to the entertainment industry.

On November 5, she took further legal steps, filing for a change in custody of their children, along with claims for alimony and property division as part of a settlement process.

With her recent decision to expand her legal actions, Yulhee has made it clear that she will not tolerate defamation or sexual harassment. Her firm stance highlights the increasing need for accountability in online spaces and sends a strong message against malicious behavior.
