Broadcaster Yoo Byung Jae’s ideal type gains attention following dating announcement.
On November 19th KST, reports confirmed that Yoo Byung Jae is dating a younger non-celebrity woman with a significant following on social media.
Yoo Byung Jae has previously discussed his ideal type on various broadcasts. On tvN’s ‘Taxi’, he shared, “I like someone down-to-earth and unpretentious.” When Lee Young Ja asked him to name a celebrity fitting his ideal type, he quickly responded, “Lee Na Young,” eliciting laughter.
Similarly, on SBS’s ‘Running Man,’ Yoo Byung Jae elaborated on his preferences. When Kim Jong Kook asked what kind of person he liked, Yoo said, “Of course, I can’t always date someone matching my ideal type, but I like cute people.” He added, “Not just someone who’s cute in appearance or acts cute, but someone who’s trying their best yet has moments of clumsiness.” When this drew attention to Jeon So Min, Yoo clarified, “No, not her. They have to be cute but unaware of it,” drawing more laughs.
Currently, Yoo Byung Jae is enjoying open, carefree dates despite public attention. Balancing work and love, he is preparing for a busy end of the year. In addition to being a regular on MBC’s ‘Omniscient Interfering View,’ he is set to appear on the new MBC program ‘Border-Crossing Class,’ premiering December 3rd.
In 2022, Yoo Byung Jae co-founded the agency Black Paper with his former manager Yoo Kyu Sun and ‘You Quiz on the Block’ main writer and planner Lee Eon Joo. Yoo Kyu Sun serves as the company’s CEO.
Yoo recently released the single ‘I Think You’re Okay’ in collaboration with UV and Jonathan. The track combines witty lyrics written by the trio with a hip-hop base and their trademark retro Dongmyo-inspired visuals, offering humor and charm.
