Travel creator Kwaktube (real name Kwak Joon Bin) resumes activities by uploading a new video to his personal channel.
On November 5th KST, Kwak Tube released a video titled “19-hour Silk Road Taxi Journey - Tajikistan (1)” on his channel.
This comes about two months after he paused his activities following a controversy in September when he posted a video of his Italy trip with Lee Naeun.
In the opening of the new video, Kwak Tube greeted viewers, saying, “It’s been a while, right?” He continued, “I’ve been home for a long time, and being there gave me a lot of time to think.”
He added, “One of the things I thought about the most was that I hadn’t traveled alone once this year. I’ve been wanting to go to the Pamir Plateau in Tajikistan for a long time, and I decided now was the time to finally do it,” hinting that more travels are on the way.
In September, Kwaktube uploaded a video titled “My First Romantic Week in Italy - Italy” featuring a trip to Italy with former April member and now actress Lee Naeun.
In the video, he addressed the previous controversy surrounding Lee Naeun regarding accusations of bullying former April member Lee Hyun Joo. Kwaktube said something akin to “Sorry for misunderstanding you,” which was criticized as “forgiving on someone else’s behalf.” This stirred controversy and led him to take a break, especially since Kwaktube himself has shared experiences as a bullying and school violence victim, making his remarks seem contradictory.
Recently, he returned to pre-controversy programs like MBN’s “Jeon Hyun Moo Project 2” and ENA’s “Earth Marble Winner’s Journey.” It appears he is now also reactivating his personal channel.
