The entertainment industry is in shock following the sudden death of actor Song Jae Rim. Colleagues and friends are mourning the tragic loss, sharing heartfelt tributes in remembrance of the late actor.
On November 12, actor Park Ho San posted a photo of the two together and wrote, "This is driving me crazy, really, Jae Rim… you were always so bright, I can’t believe it… I’m sorry, I couldn’t reach out or check in on you. I’m really sorry."
Actress Yoo Sun also shared a message in remembrance of the actor on her social media. She posted the message, "Jae Rim, it’s so heartbreaking... and painful... I hope you find peace and rest..." along with a photo she took with the actor.
On the same day, Hong Suk Chun also wrote on his social media, "It breaks my heart that I’ll never see that wonderful smile of yours again. It feels so empty, having to let you go without even saying goodbye, without taking better care of you. I’m so sorry, truly sorry. I failed at being the big brother you deserved. Rest in peace," expressing his sorrow for the late Song Jae Rim.
Not only that, but many fans have reached out to Kim So Eun through her Instagram. Fans left comments such as "Unnie, is this true? Jae Rim Oppa... I can't believe it," "Unnie, are you okay? This is so sad," and "I can't believe Jae Rim Oppa is gone... it hurts my heart."
Song Jae Rim and Kim So Eun received much love when they appeared together on the MBC variety show 'We Got Married.' Their sweet interactions with each other captivated viewers and they later reunited in the drama 'Our Gap-soon,' garnering much attention and love once again.
Meanwhile, Song Jae Rim was found dead at around 12:30 PM at his home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. He was 39 years old.
A friend, who had arranged to meet Song Jae Rim, visited his home and discovered him, then reported it to the police. According to the police, there were no signs of forced entry, and a note was found at the scene.
The funeral room has been set up in Room 2 at Yeouido St. Mary’s Hospital, with the funeral service to be held at noon on November 14.
Born in 1985, Song Jae Rim debuted in the 2009 film 'Actresses' and gained recognition through the drama 'Moon Embracing the Sun.'
