NewJeans' streaming team calls out Bang Si Hyuk for dodging the National Assembly's audit to eat hamburgers in the U.S.

On October 12 KST, fans comprising 'Team Bunnies', a streaming team dedicated to NewJeans, issued an update regarding the National Assembly Culture, Sports, and Tourism Committee's upcoming comprehensive audit.

Earlier this month, 'Team Bunnies' led a "fax bombing" effort to have the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Committee summon chairman Bang Si Hyuk of HYBE Labels as a witness for the National Assembly's comprehensive audit, in order to address the ongoing dispute between HYBE Labels and former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin.

Now, as of October 10 KST, the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Committee has completed its witness nomination process. HYBE Labels Bang Si Hyuk was not requested as a witness for the audit.

In light of the committee's decision, 'Team Bunnies' stated on this day:

"Hello, this is Team Bunnies.

Previously, on October 10 and September 24, HYBE Labels Chairman Bang Si Hyuk was requested as a witness for the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Committee's comprehensive audit. However, because he is currently staying in the United States, he was not selected as a final witness.

That being said, during the audit on the 7th, many suspicions surrounding HYBE were not resolved, and there was the consensus that additional questioning was necessary. As a result, HYBE's COO Kim Tae Ho has been selected as the representative witness.

With this, the witness nomination process for the 2024 Culture, Sports, and Tourism Committee's comprehensive audit has been completed. Please refrain from submitting additional witness requests so that we can focus on preparing for the audit. Thank you.

And Mr. Bang Si Hyuk, who is apparently too busy to attend the National Assembly audit, it seems you do have the time to giggle while eating hamburgers in the U.S. with people half your age."

Meanwhile, this is not the first time Bang Si Hyuk has been spotted in the United States with "young female acquaintances". Back in August, the producer was photographed walking the streets of Los Angeles, California with AfreecaTV BJ Juice Seyeon and her older sister.
