On September 23rd(KST), Key of SHINee held a press conference in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, to celebrate the release of his new mini-album, 'Pleasure Shop.'
Returning with a cyborg concept, Key expressed his views on AI when asked about it, stating, "It's an incredible technology. I want to utilize it as much as I can, as long as it's not misused. I think it's a good thing."
However, Key added, "I just hope it doesn't surpass humans. Aren't AI covers a bit scary? I've heard my voice covering other artists' songs, even though I never recorded them. I was amazed, but I also thought that if it advances further, there should be voice licensing and relevant laws in place."
The title track 'Pleasure Shop' is an electro-house song that blends unique synth pad patterns with a danceable drum beat, highlighted by a mix of refreshing vocals and dynamic rap. The lyrics, co-written by Key, tell the story of "Cyborg Key," who leads people into his world.
Key's new album includes six tracks, such as 'Overthink,' 'Golden,' 'I Know,' 'Going Up,' and 'Novacaine,' all showcasing various aspects of the house genre.
'Pleasure Shop' will be released on major music platforms at 6 PM on the same day.
