Na Eun reflects on acting criticism from ‘Agency’ and her growth in ‘Family X Romance’
Actress Na Eun addressed the acting criticism she faced after her previous role in ‘Agency’, where her performance was questioned due to her exaggerated facial expressions and weak vocal delivery. In her latest drama ‘Family X Romance’, she plays Byeon Mirae, the eldest daughter and a struggling office worker, showcasing a more mature and relatable performance that explores both cold rationality and heartfelt passion.
Na Eun shared her thoughts on the situation: “I approached this with a sense of responsibility rather than pressure. I gave my best in ‘Agency’ as well, and I humbly accepted the results. It became a turning point where I could reflect on my acting.”
She added, “I look at all the feedback because I believe all reactions are a form of interest. I accept them with an open heart. For this project, I was surprised to see so many people empathize with my character. It felt good as an actor to see people feel sorry for Mirae or cheer her on.”
