Actress Kim Go Eun reveals the best way to approach introverts.
On the September 17th KST, episode of the web variety show 'Salon Drip 2', the stars of the movie ‘Love in the Big City’, Kim Go Eun and No Sang Hyun, made an appearance.
‘Love in the Big City’ tells the story of Jae Hee, a free-spirited soul who doesn’t care about others’ opinions (played by Kim Go Eun), and Heung Soo, who is used to keeping his distance from the world (played by No Sang Hyun), as they navigate life and love together.
During the show, comedian Jang Do Yeon shared a story, saying, “Actor Uhm Tae Goo mentioned that while filming Chinatown, he was grateful when Kim Go Eun sat next to him and ate together, as he was eating alone.”
Kim Go Eun explained, “It was during an outdoor shoot, and everyone was sitting on the pavement eating lunchboxes. When I saw him eating alone, I just sat next to him and ate. He was like, ‘Oh… oh…’ but we ended up talking about the scene we were about to film.”
Jang Do Yeon commented, “That’s one of the best ways to approach an introvert—without putting too much pressure on them,” to which Kim Go Eun added, “Yes, I didn’t ask any personal questions. I just talked about the scene.”
No Sang Hyun praised Kim Go Eun, saying, “She’s really good at that. Even on our set, she could have just rested, but she kept talking to everyone and lightening the mood”
