Actress Jang Shin Young is making her first TV appearance since the affair scandal involving her husband, Kang Kyung Joon.

An SBS representative revealed on September 23rd(KST), "Jang Shin Young will participate as a guest in the studio recording of 'My Little Old Boy' on October 2nd, and the episode is scheduled to air in October."

Jang Shin Young and Kang Kyung Joon had previously appeared on shows like 'The Return of Superman' and 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2.' 

However, they halted their activities following Kang Kyung Joon’s affair allegations in December of last year.

In December, Kang Kyung Joon was accused of having an affair with a married woman, referred to as "A." The husband of "A" filed a lawsuit demanding compensation for damages.

Kang Kyung Joon accepted the plaintiff’s claim for 50 million won, stating, "I have concluded that enduring the misunderstandings and criticisms is my responsibility."

Despite the controversy, Jang Shin Young chose to stay with Kang Kyung Joon and maintain their family. In August, she shared, "I’ve gone through a painful time, but for the sake of the children, I’ve decided to continue living together as a family."

She also expressed regret toward her two children, saying, "I caused them emotional pain and made them experience something they should never have gone through. As a parent, I am endlessly sorry."

Jang further requested, "Though I speak cautiously, I ask for restraint from excessive criticism of my husband. I worry that the children may come across such comments. I ask for your understanding."
