BTS's V has captured the heart of world-renowned musical actress Lea Salonga.

Lea Salonga is a legendary Asian musical actress who has won both the Tony Award on Broadway and the Laurence Olivier Award in the UK for her role in "Miss Saigon." 

She is also famous for singing "A Whole New World" from Disney's Aladdin and "Reflection" from Mulan.

In a recent media interview, Lea Salonga was asked, "Who is your favorite BTS member?" to which she replied, "V, V is my favorite member." She has previously mentioned several times that V is her favorite.

In the interview, Lea Salonga praised V's emotional vocals, saying, "V's voice feels like it hugs your heart." 

She also sang a part of V's solo album "Layover" track "For Us," expressing her admiration for his voice.

In 2021, Lea Salonga shared that BTS provided great comfort to her during the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic, especially praising V's performances.

She said, "I love V's focus videos the most. I couldn't help but get immersed in V's individual fancams." 

She explained, "There isn't a single moment on V's stage that is wasted. Everything V does has a reason and intent. Every moment, even when he is just walking, seems to have a purpose." She added, 

"V knows how to fill the stage. He is amazing. Truly exceptional," highlighting his genius on stage.

Additionally, she reviewed a video from BTS's reality program "American Hustle Life," where R&B master Iris Stevenson told V, "You have something special." 

Salonga commented that watching it made her feel inspired and happy, and it brought back memories of hearing similar words herself, showing her special affection for V.
