Kim Jaejoong recently shared insights about his family on a YouTube channel. On July 15, the video titled "Kim Jaejoong with 8 Sisters and 34 Family Members, Even Giving Allowance? The Day Kangnam Felt Inferior in Filial Piety" was posted on the 'Neighborhood Friend Kangnami' channel.
In the video, Kim Jaejoong discussed his family dynamics, revealing, "I have 8 older sisters, many of whom are close in age. When I think about how hard it must have been for my parents, I feel I must always do well by them."
When asked by Kangnam if he ever fought with his sisters, Kim Jaejoong admitted, "I fought with my sisters, especially the youngest one. I was adopted when I was young, and there’s less than a year difference between us. She hid this fact and never celebrated her birthday properly because it would reveal the age gap."
Kim Jaejoong also talked about the expanding size of his family, saying, "My family keeps growing. I have 8 sisters, 8 brothers-in-law, and each sister has a child. My nieces and nephews are getting married and having children, making me a grandfather soon."
Regarding the topic of holiday gifts, he humorously mentioned that he often has work commitments during holidays. When Kangnam asked if he gives his parents 5 million KRW (approximately 3,900 USD.) each time he sees them, Kim Jaejoong confirmed, "Yes, I give my parents 5 million KRW every time I see them."
Hearing this, Kangnam's mother expressed her envy, to which Kim Jaejoong jokingly suggested Kangnam give his mother a card.
