CJ ENM has announced a partnership with The CW Network to broadcast KCON LA 2024 live on Sunday, July 28, at 8 pm ET. This marks the first time a K-pop festival will air live in primetime on national U.S. television, showcasing performances from top K-pop acts.
KCON, the world’s largest K-pop fan and artist festival, will be held from July 26-28 at the LA Convention Center, Gilbert Lindsay Plaza, and Crypto.com Arena. With Samsung Galaxy as the title sponsor, this year's event promises more stages, programming, and a vibrant festival atmosphere.
Viewers can expect high-quality live TV production with performances from multiple K-pop stars. KCON LA, the flagship event of the KCON series, has grown from a single-day event in 2012 to a global platform celebrating K-pop and Korean culture, with events in Hong Kong, Japan, and soon Germany.
"This partnership with The CW highlights the incredible community of K-pop fans who have made these groups global sensations," said Harry H.K. Shin, Head of Music Entertainment, CJ ENM.
Tune into The CW on July 28 at 5 pm PT (8 pm ET) for live performances from KCON LA 2024.
