Amid allegations that some YouTubers, known as 'cyber wreckers,' attempted to extort money from the famous YouTuber and broadcaster Tzuyang by exploiting her past, one of the accused, Caracula, has expressed his frustration, stating, "I won't go down like this."

On July 10, the Garosero Research Institute channel released a recorded conversation involving YouTubers Caracula, Gu Je Yeok, and Jeonggukjin, who are known as the 'Rekka Union.' The channel claimed that these individuals attempted to extort money from Tzuyang by threatening to expose her past.

Tzuyang is a popular YouTuber with 10.1 million subscribers and has appeared on numerous variety shows.

In response, on July 11, Caracula addressed the allegations on his channel's community page, stating, "I've been made out to be a scoundrel who accepted bribes through private sanctions," and "I swear on my two sons that I've never accepted any illicit money as a YouTuber."

He further announced, "I will temporarily suspend regular content and quickly produce and upload rebuttal materials and clarification videos to clear up the allegations."

However, as comments criticizing him for behavior inconsistent with his channel's purpose continued to flood in, Caracula posted on his social media, "I won't go down like this. For whose benefit?"

Meanwhile, following the Garosero Research Institute's revelations, Tzuyang admitted in a live broadcast on her channel that she had been assaulted and exploited by her ex-boyfriend over the past four years.

Tzuyang's legal representative also announced that they had filed the first criminal complaint against A, citing multiple charges, including assault, intimidation, injury, extortion, coercion, and violations of the Sexual Violence Punishment Act. They explained, "Due to the numerous charges, a punishment of more than five years of imprisonment was expected, but unfortunately, the former agency CEO took his own life, resulting in the criminal case being closed with a decision of 'no right to prosecute.'
