On July 1, Hanteo Chart officially released the rankings for June's monthly chart. According to the announcement, aespa, RIIZE, and tripleS each claimed top spots in various categories.
aespa topped the World Chart category, earning a World Index score of 14,767.57 points, thanks to their high scores in social media and media sectors. aespa also demonstrated their global popularity by securing the number one spot on the weekly chart for two consecutive weeks in June.
Following aespa, RIIZE ranked second with a World Index score of 12,583.09 points, while NewJeans came in third with a score of 11,956.54 points.
In the Monthly Album Chart category, RIIZE emerged as the leader. Their first mini-album ‘RIIZING’ recorded an impressive monthly album index of 1,498,349.90 points and sales of 1,277,936 copies. This achievement marked their second consecutive million-seller album and set a new personal record for first-week sales.
Coming in second was Jeonghan and Wonwoo's first single ‘THIS MAN,’ with an album index of 988,534.70 points (802,543 copies sold). NewJeans’ Japanese double single ‘Supernatural’ secured third place with an album index of 925,396.56 points (726,518 copies sold).
TripleS topped the Monthly Certification Chart with their first full-length album ‘ASSEMBLE24.’ Throughout June, Taiwan was the region with the most certified authentic albums from TripleS. The Certification Chart is based on the verified sales of legitimate albums by fans, highlighting the importance of active fan participation. ‘ASSEMBLE24’ also topped the weekly certification chart in the first and third weeks of June.
ARTMS' first full-length album ‘Dall’ and IVE’s second EP ‘IVE SWITCH’ took second and third places, respectively, on the June Monthly Certification Chart.
The Hanteo Chart's June Monthly Chart compilation period was from June 1 to June 30, 2024.
The World Chart ranks K-pop artists based on global data, including albums, digital streams, certifications, social media, and media presence. The Album Chart ranks based on the global sales volume of albums, while the Certification Chart is based on the number of authenticated album sales by overseas fans.
