After completing his 18 months of military service, Kim Seokjin returned on June 12. His fellow BTS members were there to welcome him in the most loving yet chaotic way, in a true 'Bangtan manner.' They welcomed him with hugs, smiles, and a little saxophone.

It followed with a much-awaited OT7 pic and Jin doing his comeback live on Weverse, his first since the return. In the most Kim Seokjin fashion possible, the LIVE was filled with beautiful, joyous, yet chaotic moments. Yeeting the Bouquet Away

Let’s start with the most unserious moment of the livestream and the very second fans knew, that Jin hadn’t changed at all. He proudly showed off the flower bouquet he received, then two seconds later, threw it onto the side sofa.

Talking About His Handsomeness

Of course, we must talk about the return of Worldwide Handsome and those incredible looks. Hearing Jin speak about it himself was the perfect callback. He mentioned that he usually looks more handsome but today his face was puffed from crying.

Popularity in The Military

Before discharging, Jin sort of held a mini hug event for his military friends. He made many friends who were sad to see him go. He shared how popular and loved he was in the military, mentioning that everyone wrote messages for him.

Many Awards During Service

Jin proudly shared his achievements, saying, "I am going to brag a little bit." He received more than 7-8 awards during his service, including two Company Commander level awards and several Battalion Commander level awards.

Getting All Shy

After sharing his stories, doing aegyo, and more, Jin became shy and embarrassed. He got giggly, just like always.

Fighting for The Hug Event

Jin negotiated persistently with his company to hold a hug event on June 13. He initially aimed high, asking to hug 3000 people, while the company suggested 30. After some back-and-forth, they finally agreed on 1000 hugs, proving his love for Armys determined to hug as many fans as possible.
