Forbes’ annual '30 under 30 Asia’ list has just been revealed, and girl group IVE achieved the feat of being the only K-pop group to make the list this year. Forbes described IVE as “one of the hottest girl groups in the ultra-competitive K-pop scene,” highlighting their accomplishments so far.
The '30 under 30’ list is designed to recognize young trendsetters, in this case in the entertainment industry and sports industry. Other notable nominees for this year’s list include J-pop group ATARASHII GAKKO, actress Kim Si-eun, and rapper Ezekiel Miller.
In the past, K-pop artists such as aespa, TWICE, and Hwasa have also made the Forbes list.
IVE member Yujin commented on the news, saying, “It is a great honor to be named one of Forbes' '30 Influential People Under 30 in Asia'. Thank you very much… We have been happy to be able to perform for global DIVEs throughout our world tour. We will become a great group that strives to repay you with good performances and music.”
