EXO member Baekhyun has teased details about his upcoming album.
On May 29, Baekhyun engaged with fans on his fan community platform, Weverse, posting "Welcome, first members," initiating lively interactions.
Excited about gathering his first official fanclub members, Baekhyun shared, "I'm so amazed that I'm finally recruiting the first members! Achieving things I've longed for one by one." He then teased his new album, revealing, "I'll spoil one track from the album. There's a song called 'Rendezvous'."
Baekhyun described 'Rendezvous' as a challenging track, hinting, "The vibe of the song is quite difficult, don’t you think it leans towards sexy?" He added that although he tried to avoid including high notes, the title track felt empty without them, raising fans' expectations.
Earlier today, Baekhyun announced the opening of the official first fanclub recruitment through Weverse, which will be open until June 16. Recently, Baekhyun established the independent label INB100 for his solo activities and to continue as a part of the sub-unit EXO-CBX with Chen and Xiumin. INB100 has joined as a subsidiary of ONE HUNDRED. His activities with EXO will continue under SM Entertainment.
Following the closure of the Dear U bubble service in February, Baekhyun opened the INB100 Bubble channel in March to maintain communication with his fans. His Weverse channel officially opened on May 17.
Baekhyun has also met with fans through his Asia tour 'Lonsdaleite'.
