Stray Kids has secured favorable positions on the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) charts for the second year running.
As per the recent announcement by the International Music Industry Association on September 27 (local time), Stray Kids' albums '★★★★★ (5-STAR)' and '樂-STAR' clinched the 2nd and 9th positions respectively on the 'Global Album Chart' for the year 2023. Remarkably, Stray Kids emerged as the sole 4th generation K-pop group to have multiple works listed in the top 10, solidifying their status as a leading force in the genre.
In the previous year, Stray Kids attained the 6th position on the IFPI 2022 'Global Album Chart' with their mini-album 'MAXIDENT', which also enjoyed a four-week streak atop the US Billboard main chart 'Billboard 200'. Their consistent success on global platforms has established them as frontrunners of the 4th generation K-pop scene.
The 'Global Album Chart' by the International Music Industry Association ranks albums annually based on cumulative sales of physical albums, digital downloads, and streaming figures worldwide.
Additionally, Stray Kids recently clinched the 3rd position on the International Music Industry Association's 2023 'Global Artist Chart', further solidifying their status among 4th generation K-pop groups.
Good job boys. Shows what you can accomplish with hard work.
