In light of the news of her divorce lawsuit, actress Hwang Jung Eum's recent Instagram activity has sparked interest, giving rise to various speculations.
On February 21, Hwang Jung Eum (39) updated her Instagram with 5 new posts, all photos of her husband, Lee Young Don (41).
Regarding the first photo, showing Lee Young Don holding a baby in his arms, Hwang Jung Eum wrote, "My oh-so generous husband. How beautiful. My husband Lee Young Don, who lived such a busy and entertaining life because he married me ^^. Life must have been so hard for you, but you can rest easy now."
The second photo seemed to be an image of Lee Young Don taken on another phone screen. Hwang Jung Eum commented, "Oppa from his Shin-chan days. How cute. Taking a trip down memory lane."
The rest of the photos also seemed to be photos of Lee Young Don from another phone screen. Hwang Jung Eum continued to leave short comments like "When oppa was ill with hepatitis A," and "My husband Lee Young Don, born in 1982, is so happy after receiving a bag of chocolates."
Based on the cryptic posts, many netizens speculated that Hwang Jung Eum was cynically uploading photos of Lee Young Don on her Instagram like public "WANTED" posters.
Numerous other speculations ran rampant, as some commented that the photos were ones Hwang Jung Eum had discovered in Lee Young Don's phone "taken by other women", including photos of him "holding babies he had with other women without her knowing".
When inquired about the Instagram posts, Hwang Jung Eum's agency Y1 Entertainment confirmed that the photos were posted by the actress herself, not by a hacker.
Additionally, on February 22 KST, Hwang Jung Eum's agency admitted to the recent divorce rumors, stating, "After much thinking, Hwang Jung Eum concluded that it was impossible to continue her marriage and has filed for divorce. Please understand that we cannot address specific details such as the reason for divorce, as they are a matter of the artist's private life."
If the rumors are true, that's just sad. Her husband is an *ssh*le then. Divorce is not such a tragedy. Tragedy is staying in an unhappy marriage, showing your kids the wrong things about love. Hope you choose what's right and best for you.
