BLACKPINK is receiving a lot of support from fans as the group collectively and individually declares independence.
On her birthday, the 11th, Rose briefly released her self-composed song ‘vampirehollie’ through her account.
Rose surprises with the release of her self-composed song. She said, “I am so thankful for celebrating my 27th birthday. I know there hasn’t been much news about me recently, so you must have been curious about what I’ve been up to. I’ve been working hard every day because I want to meet you all this year with a better appearance,” and “I wanted to surprise you when I’m more perfect, so there hasn’t been much news, but since it’s my birthday today, I wanted to spoil it.”
She added, "(vampirehollie) is still a stage name, but it’s a song I worked on last year," and promised, "I will try my best to come back with a better appearance this year."
Especially, Rose showed her determination for solo activities by asking, "I gave you a gift, so please give me one too! Just recommend one name for my fandom in the voting window."
BLACKPINK has received a lot of support from fans as the group declares to stand together and alone. Since debuting in 2016, BLACKPINK has now reached their 8th year. However, BLACKPINK continues group activities only with YG Entertainment.
In December last year, YG announced, "We have signed an extension contract for BLACKPINK's group activities," and "individual activities will proceed without a separate additional contract."
The first to announce going solo was member Jennie. Jennie established the personal label ODD ATELIER with her mother. Her first individual activity was appearing on KBS 2TV’s ‘The Seasons - Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet,’ receiving great acclaim.
Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa of BLACKPINK also join in going solo.
Following that, Jisoo plans to continue her individual activities with Blissoo, a child health supplement company founded by her older brother. She has also announced her participation as the lead in the movie ‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint,’ indicating her move into acting.
Moreover, Lisa announced the establishment of 'LLOUD' (loud) on the 8th through her account as a platform "to show my vision for music and entertainment."
As BLACKPINK accelerates their move to stand alone, the voices of support for their individual activities are growing louder.
Nope, Blackpink is SO over. It's separately and separately, no-one is going to be deceived into thinking anything else.
.
You could see by their behaviour at the end of that last tour, they've had enough.
