Actor Kang Kyung Joon has attempted to settle his case through mediation, however, according to media reports on February 24th, 'A' who sued the actor will not be present, signaling a setback in resolving the dispute.

As previously reported, a mediation date has been set for April 17th, where Seoul Central District Court Civil Affairs 103-3 will facilitate discussions concerning the lawsuit pertaining to Kang Kyung Joon's alleged affair. However, Plaintiff 'A' has expressed reluctance to pursue mediation by confirming that he won't be present for the April mediation, signaling a potential continuation of the legal battle.

Back in December last year, 'A' filed a suit for damages of 50 million won against the actor for knowingly disrupting A's marriage with the actor's alleged affair with A's wife. It was reported that 'A' submitted smoking gun evidence to the court. 

Many are currently speculating about the evidence and the alleged affair as the usual damages plaintiffs seek in these types of suits range from 20 to 30 million won. 

Meanwhile, Kang Kyung Joon tied the knot with actress Jang Shin Young back in 2018. The actor has been appearing in KBS 'The Return of Superman' with his two sons.
