'Single's Inferno 3' star Lee Jin Seok reflected on his time as a contestant on the show in a recent interview.

Lee Jin Seok, a café owner from Daegu, garnered attention on the show for not only his manly visual and playful personality but also for his bromance with castmate Lee Kwan Hee, a basketball player for Changwon LG Sakers.

"I feel like our personalities match well," Jin Seok commented when asked about the friendship. "Kwan Hee is loyal and takes care of his people really well. If you're his person, he'll give you everything. [...] Even now, he's the one organizing a lot of our gatherings."

While Kwan Hee's status as an athlete made him recognizable to some contestants, Jin Seok admitted he originally had no idea who Kwan Hee was. "I didn't know much about sports, so I didn't know him," he admitted. "Thanks to him, I think basketball has become even more popular now." 

In fact, Jin Seok said the most surprising thing he learned about Kwan Hee during the show was not his occupation but his age, adding, "He looked younger than me."

He then went on to mention another castmate from the show, rescue diver and police officer Park Min Kyu. "Min Kyu's age and occupation were also unexpected. I thought he was a soldier," he continued before recalling certain moments from filming. "When someone passed through to go to the bathroom while we were sleeping, Min Kyu would wake up in surprise and immediately get up. It was like a reflex. So I thought he was a soldier, but it was just his habit to respond quickly."

As previously reported, after his experience on 'Single's Inferno 3', Jin Seok has expressed a desire to pursue modeling and other opportunities in the entertainment industry.

"I've never thought about entertainment before," he commented. "But through this opportunity, I'm considering many different things. If there's a place that wants me, I want to cooperate as much as possible and engage in activities that suit me. I still have a low understanding of what actors do and what entertainers do, but right now, I want to gain a lot of different experiences."

Meanwhile, 'Single's Inferno 3' is a dating reality show that unfolds on a remote island called 'Hell' due to its scarce food and simple living conditions. When contestants find someone they mutually want to couple up with, they are then able to go to 'Paradise,' a luxury hotel with gourmet food and swanky accommodations. Thanks to the popularity of seasons 1 and 2, season 3 was also able to dominate Netflix's Global Top 10 TV shows (non-English) for 5 weeks from the moment of its release and ranked in the Top 10 lists of 31 countries.
