Regarding the recent reports claiming that actor Park Eun Bin requested a fee of 300 million KRW (~225,000 USD) per episode for her upcoming drama, both her agency and the production company have strongly denied the accuracy of the information.
On January 29, a media outlet alleged that Park Eun Bin had requested a per-episode fee of 300 million KRW for her anticipated OTT series, 'Hyper Knife.' The media outlet reported that the production company, Blaad Studio, and Disney Plus are negotiating Park Eun Bin's appearance fees.
However, Park Eun Bin's agency, Namoo Actors, has refuted these claims, categorically stating to media outlet OSEN, "It's not true," and dismissing the reports as "baseless."
On the same day, Blaad Studio also addressed the situation to OSEN, asserting, "It's baseless, and our relationship with Park Eun Bin regarding both the actor and the script is positive. Park Eun Bin has had only two meetings with the director and one with the writer regarding the project." The statement continued, "We are in the initial stages of discussing conditions with the agency. The platform contract hasn't been finalized, and it's perplexing and awkward for such an article to surface at this juncture."
They further emphasized, "We are just initiating discussions, and it's bewildering for talks about the appearance fee and negotiations to surface at this point. Both parties find themselves in an awkward position."
Meanwhile, 'Hyper Knife' is a medical crime thriller portraying the narrative of a doctor who, also a serial killer, reunites with the mentor who led her into the abyss. Park Eun Bin is poised to undertake the role of a psychopathic doctor, marking her first foray into a villainous character since her debut. The casting of Seol Kyung Gu as the antagonist has heightened industry interest in the project.

Bro, it's Disney. They earn around 80 billion dollars last year. Just go all out and ask for 1 million per episode. Who cares if they lose money 🤣
