In a dazzling display of musical prowess, NewJeans not only took center stage with a stellar performance but also won awards at the 65th Japan Record Awards.

On December 30th, the 65th Japan Record Awards took place at the New National Theater in Tokyo. NewJeans was invited to the award show to perform their hit song medley and receive two awards, including the Special Award and Excellent Project Award.

Meanwhile, "Ditto" and the title track "OMG" from their single album 'OMG,' released in January, reached 100 million cumulative streams on Oricon, and their second EP album 'Get Up,' released in July, reached No. 1 on Oricon's Daily Album Rankings on July 21st. NewJeans also ranked highest among K-pop artists in several categories in the 2023 annual charts released by Oricon and Billboard Japan. In August, NewJeans performed on the main stage of Japan's leading music festival, Summer Sonic Festival.

Congratulations to NewJeans!

Pretty impressive considering they haven't even debuted in Japan yet. I'm guessing that'll happen in 2024.
