Bang Si Hyuk, Taeyang, and Min Hyo Rin's residence in Hannam-dong, Seoul, has earned a reputation as one of Korea's most exclusive and expensive houses.

During the December 1 broadcast of the TV CHOSUN variety show 'AHW - All the Houses in the World' on December 1, the episode centered around the theme of the 'Top 3 Most Expensive Homes.'

Hosts Hong Hyun Hee and Jason opened up, saying, "With the arrival of our child, our interest in houses has grown. Additionally, since our lease has expired, we are currently in the process of searching for a new home," revealing, "We find ourselves browsing homes similar to Hong Jin Kyung's every day."

Hong Jin Kyung
, residing in a lavish mansion in Pyeongchang-dong, shared, "Our home is not an ordinary one," unveiling a surprising behind-the-scenes story about the house.

She disclosed, "The townhouse I reside in was designed by an architect named Jun Itami (an iternationally renowned Korean-Japanese architect). Interestingly, he constructed our house before passing away, making it his final masterpiece."

Boom
added to the conversation, stating, "My mother worked as a real estate agent," highlighting his early interest in real estate. He explained, "Fascinated by feng shui, I delved into numerous books. When purchasing our newlywed house, I chose a location where wealth gathers according to feng shui, situated between two major banks in Myeongdong."

With housing costs soaring in recent years, especially in Seoul, where homeownership has become a huge challenge, the topic captivated widespread interest in Korea. Additionally, the show offered valuable insights into how Seoul's housing prices stack up against those in other countries.

A highlight was the unveiling of Seoul's priciest residence, the PAARC Hannam apartment residences, situated in Hannam-dong and average value of a remarkable 18 billion KRW (approximately 14 million USD). This prestigious property boasts an impressive roster of celebrity occupants,  including Bang Si Hyuk, the chairman of HYBE and the creative force behind BTS, alongside Taeyang from Big Bang and his wife, actress Min Hyo Rin.

The PAARC Hannam apartment residences, situated in the exclusive Hannam-dong neighborhood in Seoul, also known as the "Beverly Hills of Seoul," are among the most luxurious and high-end residential properties in South Korea. Setting itself apart from the standard high-rise, multi-unit Korean apartments, Janghak Paarc Hannam exudes a unique sense of exclusivity and privacy. This luxurious complex comprises just 17 residences, offering a more intimate and elite living experience, a stark contrast to the densely populated towers commonly found across Korea. These features highlight the PAARC Hannam residences as a symbol of luxury and exclusivity in South Korea, attracting the country's elite and famous personalities.

During a laid-back conversation about housing costs, the six hosts openly discussed the monthly rent and deposit amounts for their previous residences.

Boom took the opportunity to share his experience, saying, "I once lived in a luxurious villa in 'UN Village' with a captivating Han River view, paying only 500,000 KRW (~385 USD) a month, sharing it with Tony An." This revelation sparked envy among the group.

However, Boom added a surprising twist to the story, revealing, "Despite the breathtaking Han River view, Tony An wasn't a fan of sunlight. Consequently, he kept the blackout curtains were closed all day. Eventually, I couldn't endure it for even a year," unveiling the intriguing details of his living arrangement.

Over priced houses in Seoul. The PAARC Homes costing an arm and a leg, yet you have electric cables wires and all other cables hanging outside; sorry not fit for purpose of luxury here in UK where even a less previlege area do not have cable wires hanging out. Intellectual luxury is to have all cables etc underground!!

Lemme see.... they are kicking 8700 households out of Hannam dong to expand for the rich. I truly don't like these selfish creeps.
