On December 16, EXO member Chanyeol successfully held his solo 'Penshoppe' fan meeting in the Philippines. This was his biggest solo event in the country yet, following the singer's 'Ever Bilena' fan meeting held at the PICC Plenary Hall last October, and the singer's third visit in Manila this year, with the first one being EXO-SC's 'Back to Back' fan concert at the Araneta Coliseum.

Prior to his full-house fan meeting at the Mall of Asia Arena, Chanyeol took time to answer some questions during the press conference. When asked about his fashion style, the singer revealed that when he was young he preferred street-style looks, but now he is more into adult-like looking and casual styles. "I think Penshoppe has a lot of daily clothes good for mix and match."

"For this opportunity, I was able to join Penshoppe. Of course, the thing that makes me excited is the EXO-Ls. They make me happy whenever I visit here," he said. Chanyeol also recalled the time he and Sehun performed in Manila as part of their 'Back to Back' tour, saying, "You guys sing along very well. I was energized looking at you enjoying the concert."

"Do as you wish," on his piece of advice to his fans. "Whether it's your profession or relationship with other people, follow your heart. Whenever you do it, you will never regret it."

Chanyeol also expressed his desire to greet fans with solo music: "I'd like to release a solo album since I haven't had a lot of solo activities yet." 

During the fan meeting proper, Chanyeol shared that he likes the shirt with short sleeves, revealing the reason why he likes it: so he can show his biceps. "It fits me perfectly."

Towards the end of the event, the artist relayed his message: "The year of 2023 is really ending right. I'm really happy that 2023 was a year that I was able to meet my EXO-Ls more often. Now that 2023 is ending, I think that this is only the start. I hope moving forward in 2024, I'll have the opportunity to meet and enjoy with you guys. Of course, to Penshoppe who made this possible, I thank you so much. I had so much fun, and Penshoppe, let's do this forever!"
