Last night, Wednesday (November 15th), was an incredible moment for K-pop fans in Brazil as the broadcast of the BreakTudo Awards 2023 took place. The event honored significant figures in Brazilian and international music, and K-pop had a guaranteed presence - Jungkook, Twice, and Blackpink are among the winners.

Jungkook took home the "International Artist on The Rise" award, competing against names like Kim Petras, Tom Odell, and Rema. Jungkook went even further and became one of the biggest winners of the night by also receiving the "International Music Video" award for the music video of "Seven," his collaboration with rapper Latto.

The Japanese group BE:FIRST won the International New Artist award, competing with artists such as Ice Spice, Emilia Mernes, and Peso Pluma. Meanwhile, TWICE triumphed in one of the more hotly contested categories, winning the International Female Group award, where they competed with (G)I-DLE, Blackpink, and ITZY.

JIMIN won his first award at the Brazilian awards ceremony, taking home the International Hit of The Year category for the song "Like Crazy." Competing songs included "Flower" by Jisoo, "Flowers" by Miley Cyrus, "Cupid (Twin Ver.)" by FIFTY FIFTY, and Kill Bill by SZA. The group SB19 won in the Male International Group category, and among their competitors were Big Time Rush, 5SOS, CNCO, EXO, and Stray Kids.

"I Feel Good" by the Filipino group BINI won in the "International New Artist Song" category. To close the night on a high note, Blackpink's BLINK fandom won in the category of International Fandom of The Year.

The BreakTudo Awards 2023 was broadcast on the streaming platforms Box Brazil Play, Telemilênio, Yeeaah TV, and the BreakTudo channel on YouTube. Brazilian artists were present at the event in São Paulo, with DIGRECCO, BINI, Anara, and Agatha among the night's performers.
