Former SPICA's Bohyung has been revealed as the new vocalist of Uptown.

On November 17, reports revealed Bohyung as the vocalist for legendary group Uptown's upcoming 25th anniversary album. Uptown is known as Korea's representative hip hop co-ed group, and after debuting in 1997, Yoon Mi Rae was a member for their 1st to 3rd album. Rapper Jessi later joined the group for their 5th full-length album as well.

Uptown have been gathering attention this year following the news of a comeback after 13 years, which will include some of the group's best tracks from their 25-year discography. Leader and producer Chris Jung and other new members will also be a part of the lineup for the album. 

Bohyung debuted as a member of SPICA in 2012, and along with her solo activities, she's been collaborating with former SPICA member Boa as the duo KEEMBO. The singer also personally shared she'll be using the stage name Ru.B.
