NCT 127, unfortunately, had to announce the absence of member Taeil due to a motorcycle accident, from their upcoming concert 'NEO CITY -THE UNITY'.

On October 18  KST, SM Entertainment made an official statement on Weverse about Taeil's health status and schedule.

SM reported, "Taeil, who suffered injuries in a motor accident last August, has successfully undergone surgery and is presently focused on recovery. He passionately hopes to reconnect with his fans as soon as his health permits." The agency further added, "However, in the best interest of his health, and to ensure complete recovery and stability, Taeil won't be participating in NCT 127's third solo concert 'NEO CITY - THE UNITY', slated to occur in November."

SM Entertainment also expressed sympathy and gratitude towards NCT 127's fans, saying "We immensely appreciate the outpouring of concern from fans regarding Taeil's health and assure you we are doing our utmost to ensure Taeil's safe return to the stage."

Taeil was unfortunately involved in a road accident on the night of August 15 while returning home on his motorcycle and suffered a fracture in his right thigh.

His fellow group members in NCT 127 are gearing up for their third tour 'NEO CITY - THE UNITY', set to kick off in Seoul at the KSPO DOME. The concert series will span over two weeks from November 17-19, and again from 24-26.
