Park Soo Hong's parents revealed shocking details about his private life during the latest trial against his older brother.
The comedian and presenter previously filed a lawsuit against his brother Park Jin Hong and his brother's wife, who've been indicted on the charges of embezzling money from the company representing Park Soo Hong after Park Jin Hong admitted to embezzling 1.9 billion Won ($1.33 million USD). Park Soo Hong previously claimed a total of 10 billion Won in damages (~7 million USD), but the prosecution is claiming 6.17 billion Won (4.3 million USD) in damages.
On October 13, Park Soo Hong's parents stood on the witness stand at his brother's request, revealing a lot of unexpected details about his private life with women and their thoughts on his current wife Kim Da Ye. Though his brother and his sister-in-law were present, Park Soo Hong himself did not attend the trial.
According to Park Soo Hong's father, a cash reserve was created by his older brother due to Park Soo Hong's alleged habits with women. His father revealed Park Soo Hong used the cash reserve to buy expensive gifts for the women he dated, and he further claimed Park Soo Hong buys women a foreign car after breaking up with them. His father stated, "Park Soo Hong really loves women too much. I know of 6 women he's dated alone. He also got a baby once, and he asked his brother and sister-in-law to handle the situation," adding, "He dated a woman for 7-8 years, and they were planning to marry in Malaysia. After a few months, the woman cried and told me that he wanted to break up with her. At the time, I told her, 'It's between you two, and it's not our business.' Three days later, Park Soo Hong came to his mother and asked for his bank account... He told his mother, 'Don't you have to give money to the woman you've been dating when you break up?" He also asserted Park Soo Hong paid for the gifts in cash to keep the transaction details a secret.
As for reports of Park Soo Hong's father threatening him with an axe, his father explained, "For the past 30 years, I cleaned and managed Park Soo Hong's house. When I went to clean the house, the password was changed. After spending nights with a woman, I even cleaned up his used condoms, but he changed the password without even telling me. I got angry and knocked on the door, and then I broke it down with a fire extinguisher."
His father then alleged Park Soo Hong's wife Kim Da Ye is seeking to obtain his brother Park Jin Hong's property. Before the trial took place, Park Soo Hong's mother also told reporters Kim Da Ye was gaslighting Park Soo Hong, stating, "Park Soo Hong is being gaslighted by Kim Da Ye... People are saying my oldest son lived luxuriously. They call him a swindler, but that's not true."
Park Soo Hong's parents are reported to have been absent from his wedding at the end of last year.

They’re clearly doing this to gaslight and get a rise out of him. I feel so terribly for him, his life with his family reads like some of those fantastical stories you see on Reddit where people discuss the lengths their toxic families will go to take them down, take their money or just gaslight them in general. They’re clearly hoping to tarnish his reputation with these allegations in order to avoid consequences for stealing from him. I don’t blame him for being absent from the trial, he likely knew they would try to pull something like this and didn’t want to be triggered by their awful behavior.
