Former f(x)’s Krystal shares her thoughts on Sulli’s upcoming posthumous film “Dear Jinri”.
In a recent interview, Krystal opened up about her thoughts on the upcoming documentary film, “Dear Jinri,” which chronicles the life and final moments of the late Sulli, her former f(x) member.
Krystal expressed her surprise at the film being screened at the Busan International Film Festival: “I’ve heard that it’s a documentary film set to be released, but I didn’t know that the film would be screened at the Busan International Film Festival.” She continued, “In fact, I haven’t mentioned this anywhere else. Even now, it’s difficult for me (to talk about this).” Despite the emotions tied to the film, Krystal revealed that she intends to watch “Dear Jinri” for Sulli: "But I too will watch unnie's movie."
In May 2022, Krystal posted a story celebrating f(x) NU ABO 12th release anniversary. In particular, a two-shot taken alone with the late Sulli is added, conveying the affectionate feelings toward Sulli, which is touching and warmed fans heart.
“Dear Jinri” is a documentary that captures Sulli’s final interview, filmed in 2019 before Sulli passed away. It promises to provide an intimate glimpse into the life and thoughts of Sulli. The film is scheduled to premiere at the Busan International Film Festival and will also be shown in select theaters across South Korea.
Meanwhile, "Cobweb" starring Krystal Jung will be released on september 27th.
Talking about Jinri shouldn't be taboo but she shouldn't be blindsided in to doing it... This reporter randomly bringing this up in an interview when she was there to answer about her new movie is kinda rude and insensitive smh. We do acknowledge what happened, but Krystal, Luna, Victoria and Amber have the liberty to talk about it when they are READY and actually WANT to talk about it, not when reporters like this just randomly bring it up. Just because it’s been years doesn’t mean they’re ready to open up. This is even a sensitive topic to meus/peaches how much more to Krystal.
