Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon will be serving as a special artist director on the next episode of 'NCT Universe: LASTART'.

On August 17, reports revealed Hyoyeon will be appearing on the competitive reality show 'NCT Universe: LASTART' as a special artist director. She shared she was a trainee with SM Entertainment for 7 years, which was the longest at the time, and expressed, "Half of my life was with SM. I thought I would debut as a solo artist." When she found out she was training to be part of a group, Hyoyeon said, "It was war from then on."

As special artist director, the Girls' Generation member will be overseeing the trainees' performances, talents, and other details. On the next episode, the 11th trainee added in at the last minute will also be revealed.
