Court rejects FIFTY FIFTY's request for provisional injunction to suspend their exclusive contract with ATTRAKT

AKP STAFF

The court has ultimately ruled that there is no urgent reason to approve FIFTY FIFTY's request to immediately terminate their exclusive contracts with ATTRAKT.

On August 28 KST, the Seoul Central District Court dismissed FIFTY FIFTY's request for an injunction to suspend their exclusive contract with ATTRAKT. A preliminary injunction is usually a remedy used to obtain a temporary order. However, when a request is rejected, it means that no urgent reason to accommodate the applicant's request has been found.

As previously reported, all four members filed for a provisional injunction, claiming that their reputation had been damaged. The legal representative of the group also stated their various issues with the agency, such as non-transparent settlements and unilateral attempts to enforce contracts despite health conditions. On August 9, a mediation was arbitrated by the civil division of the Seoul Central District Court, with the mothers of FIFTY FIFTY members Saena and Aran and ATTRAKT management accompanied by their respective legal representatives. However, they failed to reach an agreement.

In response, law firm Barun, which represented FIFTY FIFTY, submitted an application for the resumption of interrogation, expressing hope for a formal trial. However, the court dismissed this decision.

"There is a lot of evidence of tampering,"
ATTRAKT CEO Jun Hong Joon commented in regard to the court's decision. "In the future, we plan to focus on criminal complaints against The Givers CEO Ahn Seong Il and Director Baek."

I think the girls are finished in this industry; and they deserve it.

They should sue themselves as they were the ones who tarnished their own reputation.
