Three K-Pop solo acts, B.I, Jeon So Mi, and Baekhyun, were welcomed by the Manila crowd on June 11 at the Araneta Coliseum.
First on the stage was B.I. This show marks his second visit to the Philippines this year, following his successful 'L.O.L The Hidden Stage' solo show last March 5.
Decked out in a white shirt with a purple polo top, B.I kicked off his 18-track setlist with the hit "BTBT." He performed for an hour-long, maintaining the hype until he stepped off the stage. Performing on stage, B.I really knows how to handle the crowd, and it was evident that he had fun while performing. The songs from his setlist included "Illa Illa," "Cosmos," "Waterfall," "Keep Me Up," and his latest singles "Die For Love" and "Dare To Love," among others.
Clad in a pink outfit with a pigtail hairstyle, Jeon So Mi staged her first-ever solo performance in the country. The singer performed an array of her hits, including "XOXO," "Birthday," "Dumb Dumb," "What You Waiting For," and the rock version of "Anymore," delivering fierce stages. But during her segments, So Mi exuded cuteness, and her charms overflowed as she interacted with the crowd.
During her ment, she shared a fun fact that the Philippines might be the first country she ever visited. "Are you guys curious what do I mean by first? My mom was pregnant with me and then she came to the Philippines," said So Mi.
Finally, after four years of waiting, cheers erupted from the full-packed audience as Baekhyun took the stage. The singer wowed the crowd with his powerful live vocal prowess, hitting the right notes from the beginning to the end of the songs he performed. The tracks from his setlist included "Un Village," "Candy," "Betcha," "Love Again," and "Bambi."
Baekhyun also made a promise to come back to the Philippines.
'2023 K-POP OVERPASS' was presented by Cornerstone and OctoArts Entertainment.
