Actor Yoo Ah In has appeared in public with his hands tied for his attendance in court.
As reported, the actor is currently facing charges for abusing at five illegal drugs, and the police have decided to request an arrest warrant over concerns that his side may destroy evidence. On the morning of May 24 KST, he was called in for another interrogation at the Seoul Central District Court.
Standing in front of the press, Yoo Ah In remarked that he "admits the majority of the accusation" but that he has "never attempted to flee the accomplice."
Meanwhile, media outlets covering the news pointed out his "greying hair" amid the appearance. After his attendance lasting for about an hour and 30 minutes, the actor exited the building and further revealed that "the facts related to [his] destroying evidence are not true." He also attested that he has "revealed all the truths that [he] could possibly reveal" and that he "regrets" having used drugs.
What's the point of tying his hands? Was that necessary? It's not like he can run or fight his way out, is it?
.
They're out to humiliate and make an example of him, this is shameful behaviour by the police. I'm glad we don't have 'interrogation by reporter' like that.
