Bang Ye Dam has opened an official Instagram account.

On May 6 KST, the former TREASURE member created an Instagram account under the username bangyedam_0257. The account's profile photo is a selfie the idol took in a parking lot convex mirror, and at the time of this article, more than 671,000 fans have already followed him.

The first post in his account is a simple message to fans, with the idol writing, "Hello, this is Bang Ye Dam. First, I'd like to sincerely thank all of the fans who have waited for me and cheered me on for such a long time. I want to be able to see you all quickly, so I'm preparing diligently, and if you wait just a little longer, I'll come back with some good news. I'll return as awesome Bang Ye Dam! Thank you always."

Meanwhile, as previously reported, Bang Ye Dam officially withdrew from TREASURE and terminated his contract with YG Entertainment on November 8, 2022. According to an official statement released by YG Entertainment, "this decision was reached in order to provide him with the proper environment for him to grow as a producer with distinct and unique characteristics."
