On April 4 KST, YG Entertainment announced that it will release a mobile game using BLACKPINK’s intellectual property (IP) in the second quarter of this year.

YG Entertainment plans to release 'BLACKPINK The Game' in partnership with TakeOne Company, a content producer. TakeOne Company is a company that launched the mobile game 'BTS World' in 2019 based on the group BTS.

'BLACKPINK The Game' is a game where game users become producers of BLACKPINK and help the members grows. Various contents such as member training, office building management simulation, and character decoration will be included in the game.

In addition, the game's original soundtrack (OST) and music video sung by BLACKPINK will be released later. YG concluded by saying, "You will be able to meet various aspects of BLACKPINK in a new form that you have never seen before."
