Questions continue to be raised about the relationship between BLACKPINK's Rosé (26) and actor Kang Dong Won (42).

On April 16 KST, a post titled 'Evidence proving Kang Dong Won and Rosé are dating' was shared on an online community.

The post claimed that Rosé and Kang Dong Won are dating based on various similarities – from wearing similar jewelry and clothing items, attending the same events, sharing the same acquaintances, and other hints from social media.

Netizens who interacted with the post left a range of reactions. Some expressed surprise over the possible couple and their sixteen-year age difference, while on the other hand, others were angry and insisted it was fake news. One also claimed that a friend directly witnessed the couple on a date at a wine bar in Gangnam's Cheongdam neighborhood a few months ago.

Meanwhile, the rumors first began through Chinese social media when a photo of Rosé and Kang Dong Won sparked speculation the two stars are dating as well as allegations of drug paraphernalia. After the photos were posted by former Burberry chief creative officer Riccardo Tisci, he took them down after rumors of alleged drug use. YG Entertainment has since addressed the rumors, stating, "We're pursuing legal action against those who are violating our artists' rights and privacy. We're currently monitoring and watching those who create and spread these rumors. We will not be settling and will respond strongly."
