Lee Hyori recently garnered attention after an Instagram account speculated to be hers was discovered.
Lee Hyori has been making headlines recently as rumors began to circulate that she had created a new Instagram account. The account, 'lee_hyolee,' was created on April 13, and it quickly amassed 800 followers despite having no posts. It was also discovered that several top celebrities, including Uhm Jung Hwa, Seolhyun, Lee Sang Soon, and Kim Wan Seon, are following the account (@lee_hyolee), leading fans to speculate that the singer had re-created an account to connect with fans.
There is speculation that Lee Hyori may have created the account to promote her upcoming performance with 'The Dancing Wanderers,' a project group consisting of some of the best female artists in Korea. The group has already begun performing at various music events, including the Jinhae Gunhangje Military Music Festival on April 2.
'The Dancing Wanderers' is a TV program scheduled to air in May, where the artists will travel across the country to meet fans face-to-face. It has been confirmed that Kim Wan Seon, Uhm Jung Hwa, Lee Hyori, BoA, and Hwa Sa have joined the team of performers.
Meanwhile, Lee Hyori deleted her Instagram account back in 2020. During a KakaoTV entertainment program, Lee Hyori revealed why she deleted her Instagram account. She explained, "I realized that I am habitually looking at my phone 1-2 hours a day. I was looking through Instagram one time and Soonie (her pet) was looking at me. I saw her and I wondered 'When has she been staring at me?' and I felt bad. There were a lot of instances like this. Instead of talking with Sangsoon, we would be just looking at our phones."
She added, "Another reason is that there are so many requests through DMs. A lot of people ask for money. When I see those messages, I can't ignore them. The malicious comments aren't the biggest reason (I am deleting Instagram)."
I wonder what her beauty regimen is. She does not seem to age.
