BTS member Kim Taehyung, aka V, has outperformed everyone on Instagram since he joined the platform 16 months ago.

Once again, Taehyung has proven that he rightfully deserves the title of "Social Media King." He has become the first and only Asian act on Instagram to surpass 20 million likes on multiple posts.

Taehyung's first Instagram post to cross the 20 million likes threshold featured his adorable pet dog Yeontan, who is often referred to by fans as the "8th member of BTS." His second post to reach the milestone was his personal photos.

These two posts showcase Taehyung's lovable character, excellent sense of aesthetics, and his fondness for his furry companion.

In addition to this impressive feat, Taehyung is currently the only person in the world who has surpassed 10 million likes on all of his Instagram posts.

Furthermore, his 16-month-old account has the highest engagement rate globally, surpassing even celebrities with follower counts 8-10 times larger than his own. This is a clear testament to the authenticity of his followers.

In his Weverse interview for 'Proof,' Taehyung was questioned about his Instagram posts, and he clarified his stance regarding photos. He revealed that he prefers to show his authentic self and avoids modifying and filtering his photos. Not that he needed to, anyway.

"Filters? I don’t use filters. And I don’t edit them, either. Because if I did, they wouldn’t be me anymore. I tend to leave the photos just as they are with an unpolished feel."
