BTS V's (Kim Taehyung) Self-Composed Track "Sweet Night" becomes the 1st Korean OST to Surpass 300 Million Streams on Spotify
BTS member Kim Taehyung, aka V, continues to achieve records before his official solo debut.
"Sweet Night," a track composed, written, and produced by Taehyung himself, has exceeded 300 million streams on Spotify, the world's leading streaming platform.
It extends its record as the most-streamed Korean OST on the platform.
"Sweet Night," an original soundtrack released for the JTBC drama 'Itaewon Class' in March 2020, created a milestone in the K-pop industry by smashing numerous records.
Along with its Spotify record, the OST made history by becoming the first-ever song to reach #1 on the iTunes charts in 119 countries.
Taehyung has been dubbed the "OST King" after recently securing the top two spots for the most-streamed Korean OSTs on Spotify. His other OST, "Christmas Tree," currently holds the second place.
This achievement is a testament to Taehyung's musical prowess, as he continues to captivate audiences with his soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics.

Kim Taehyung's voice is so beautiful and his singing style naturally suits OST's. I am immensely proud of him for he truly did this without promotion or his co backing. It is remarkable the records he created with Sweet Night. It is a queen indeed. Borahae.
