Set to return later this month with the release of his 1st full solo album 'Sour&Sweet', GOT7's BamBam opened up about his career, his unfiltered image on variety shows, and more with '@Star1' magazine!
First, BamBam shared his reaction to the love he recently received from fans for his hilariously brash tongue on variety programs. He said, "I'd say there are very few K-Pop idols who can go this far and speak so bluntly. To be honest, sometimes I actually worry about if I went too far."
In April, BamBam will be starring in tvN's new food/travel variety, 'Genius Salesman Baek' in Morocco. BamBam revealed, "It premieres on April 2, and it's gonna be really good. I completely just shed my idol side. No makeup, no styling, totally bare-faced, it's completely real."
Next, BamBam talked about his new YouTube series, 'Bam House', and the interesting guests he has invited on the series so far. He said, "I've pulled as many strings as possible, and some really big guests will be on it soon, so please look forward to it."
If he could invite anyone he wanted on his YouTube channel, who would BamBam choose? He answered, "Kwon Ji Yong sunbaenim. Ji Yong hyung has been my role model ever since Big Bang's debut. But the channel is still too shabby to have Ji Yong hyung. Once it gains more recognition, I would really love to have him as a guest."
Finally, BamBam looked back on whether or not he was able to fulfill the dreams he hoped to fulfill when he first came to Korea. He commented, "There's one half of me that has grown and matured like I dreamed and imagined, but there's another half that I'm not as proud of. There are times that I regret so much, that I wish I could turn back time and relive them. During GOT7's debut days, I was had a severe case of 'middle schooler illness', and now that I'm looking back on those days, it is the most embarrassing dark history anyone can have."
BamBam's full interview and cover pictorial can be found in the April issue of '@Star1'!
That’d be fun.☺️
