On March 10, A Team Entertainment took to VAV's fan cafe to announce to fans that Baron has left both the company and the group.
The announcement states:
"Hello.
This is Ateam Entertainment.
We inform you that VAV member Baron (real name: Choi Choong-hyeop) has decided to leave the team and terminate the exclusive contract on March 10, 2023, due to personal circumstances.
We apologize for causing concern to fans with the sudden news.
We ask for your continued warm support and love for VAV members.
Thank you."
Shortly after, Baron left a handwritten note for fans that he posted on Instagram.
Meanwhile, VAV has mentioned they are working on a comeback that should be released this coming spring. Stay tuned.

It's sad. But most importantly, if he and the rest of the members are ok with his decision, then it will be ok for us. VAV will never be the same without BaRon, but hoppefully he will come back healthy and happy. Health and family are more important than the group's activity, if it's the best for him, it's ok. I really love how he think at his group and fans🩵
