Jin just had a mega-successful solo debut with his track 'The Astronaut.' The artist put lots of work, creativity, and feelings into it, and the results did pay off. 

This year, Jin has already received 6 physical trophies: TTA Best Artist of K-Drama OST World, TTA Best Artist of K-Drama OST- Mexico, TMA Individual Choice Award, M Countdown Award, and two Melon Weekly Top Artist awards. He is also nominated as the representative of Korea at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2022 for the 'Best Theme Song or Title Theme". 

'The Astronaut' demonstrated an amazing performance on charts and streaming platforms. Moreover, Jin is one step away from becoming the best selling solo artist, That's why he is expected to get lots of nominations at the year end awards in 2023. 

However, even after just one month, Jin already got nominated at the awards ceremony in Korea. 

Seoul Music Awards is a major South Korean music awards show presented by the newspaper Sports Seoul. The award winners are selected based on a combination of criteria, including music sales, popular votes, and expert judges' opinions.

This year, they are going to hold the 32nd ceremony at the KSPO Dome. Jin got nominated in 3 categories: Main Prize (Bonsang), Kwave Popularity, and Popularity Award. Besides the judges' decisions, fans can also take part in helping their favorite artists win. The voting starts on the 6th and 27th of December. The winners are going to be announced at the ceremony on 19th January 2023!
