BTS member Kim Taehyung, aka V, adds two more awards to his list of accolades.

The Brazilian entertainment site "K4US" held the "2022 PAK Brazil Awards" to help Hallyu fans in Brazil understand Korean popular culture and identify their tastes and preferences.

After a month-long competition, the winners of this year's "Prêmio Annual K4US" awards were announced, and Taehyung's OST "Christmas Tree" beat popular candidates and took the crown under the "OST of the Year" category.

"Christmas Tree" is the main OST for the K-drama series "Our Beloved Summer" and was released on Christmas Eve last year. The song has achieved worldwide success since its release and is notable for being the first K-drama OST to enter Billboard's Hot 100 chart.

"In the SOOP: Friendcation," a travel reality show Taehyung participated in this year, also won in the 'Best Reality Show' category at the "Prêmio Annual K4US" 2022 awards.

Both awards were officially added to Taehyung's Wikipedia page. 

At the same time, "In the SOOP: Friendcation" also won at the recent "Dramaland Awards 2022" under the 'Favorite Reality Show' category, which highlights popular Korean content in Brazil.

'In The SOOP: Friendcation' is a reality show featuring the 'Wooga Squad' friend circle, actors Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik, Park Hyung Sik, rapper Peakboy, and K-pop megastar V of BTS, aka Kim Taehyung. The show follows the five friends as they embark on a four-day vacation trip in Gangwon-do Province.

The Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific Region (APAC) revealed that the streaming time of locally produced Asian content serviced on Disney Plus increased 8 times this year compared to last year. 

"In The SOOP: Friendcation" was among the top three most-watched titles in the majority of Asia-Pacific markets, proving its global commercial success.
