According to an exclusive media outlet report on November 28, singer/actor Rain has decided to hand over his ownership of the boy group Ciipher to another management company.
Originally, Ciipher debuted under Rain Company in March of 2021, garnering attention as the 4-th generation K-Pop boy group produced by Rain. However, approximately a year and 8 months after the group's debut, Rain has come to the conclusion that Ciipher should be managed by more expert hands.
Rain will continue to work closely with Ciipher as the group's producer, devoting his affection.
Meanwhile, Rain's wife Kim Tae Hee also made a surprise appearance in Ciipher's "I Like You" debut MV in March of last year.
Can't stand Rain. First with MBLAQ, then with UNB and Uni.t, and now with Ciipher. It's like he brags about how generous he is as a CEO to make himself look good, but when it comes to putting in the work he literally abandons his groups.
