BLACKPINK took home another trophy for their latest title track "Shut Down"!
The nominees for the 'Champion Song' on MBC's 'Show Champion' for the week of October 5 included BLACKPINK's "Shut Down", CRAVITY's "Party Rock", Crush's "Rush Hour (feat. j-hope of BTS)", Kang Minkyung and Jannabi Choi Junghoon's "Because We Loved", and EXO Xiumin's "Brand New". In the end, BLACKPINK's "Shut Down" ranked #1 among the nominees.
This marks BLACKPINK's third win on 'Show Champion' for "Shut Down", achieving a triple crown, the song's sixth win on a music show, and the group's 56th win overall.
