Netflix Korea has brought on board an impressive crew for its latest project, a K-drama remake of 'Parasyte', the popular sci-fi horror manga series by Hitoshi Iwaaki.
'Parasyte: The Gray' will be directed by Yeon Sang Ho, the fantasy horror mastermind behind 'Train toBusan', 'Peninsula', 'Hellbound' and more. The series tells the story of mankind threatened by parasitic creatures from outer space, creatures which infect the bodies of human "hosts" so that they can murder and consume other humans. Yeon Sang Ho will also co-write the series with Ryu Yong Jae of 'Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area'.
Joining director Yeon Sang Ho in 'Parasyte: The Gray' are Lee Jung Hyun and Goo Kyo Hwan, who both previously worked with Yeon Sang Ho in 'Peninsula'. Alongside the two, actress Jeon So Ni also comes on board as the female lead, Jung Soo In.
More details on the Korean drama remake of 'Parasyte' will be available soon.
Not even Japanese ppl can pull off the live action of their own work as it is shown in Parasyte and Attack on Titan movies. I liked train to Busan and Hellbound so I will for sure tune in out of curiosity.
Why??? Why though.
